Volunteers Naturalist Class

The Central New York area is well known for its sparkling lakes, streams, beautiful hills, valleys, meadows and wetlands containing an abundance of wildlife and plants. Commercial and technological development is encroaching on these beautiful areas more and more each year.

As a result, we face many difficult environmental issues which we cannot begin to address in an effective way without a wholesome knowledge and awareness of our environment.

Environmental education programs at CNE are an essential tool to help Central New Yorkers understand their environment and their own roles in protecting and maintaining it.

CNE's Nature Study Course is a great way to increase your knowledge of nature.
