COST: $75 for three hours* with CNE Family memberships ($40 non-refundable deposit). $125 for three hours for non-CNE members ($50 non-refundable deposit). The party may be in the small program room (holds approximately 15 people including children and adults) or the large program room.

PAYMENT: A non-refundable deposit (cash or a check made out to CNE) is due two weeks before the party. Balance is due the day of the party.

HOURS AVAILABLE: Monday - Friday, 11am- 3:30pm; Saturdays 10:30-3:30 pm (including set-up and clean-up). Extended hours possible: CNE members $15/half hour ; $25/half hour non-members.

ATTENDANCE: No more than 15 children.

ACTIVITES: One-hour outside program with an environmental educator, weather permitting or an indoor nature game/activity or program. At the end of the one hour each child receives a small nature gift (ex.: rubber snake or frog) and the birthday child receives a special gift.

Activities may include a Nature Hike, Scavenger Hunt, Bird & Bug Bingo, Hike to the Beaver Dam, Meet Miss Hiss (six-foot live snake), Animal Concentration, Nature Touch Table and Snowshoeing (must have at least 6" of snow). If a craft or theme is included, there may be an additional cost for materials.

FOOD: Bring your own, use the fully equipped kitchen (must notify CNE at least three days in advance to ensure there will be adequate space in the refrigerator and freezer) or order take-out (pizza, etc.). Kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, stove top and commercial sinks. No food can be left anywhere in the building, including the kitchen.

DECORATIONS: Bring you own decorations, including table cloths. The room is 40' x 40' with very high ceilings. Balloons can be tied to tables or chairs or anchored with table center pieces. No tape or tacks on the walls. Poster putty is fine.

CLEAN UP: Whatever the party brings in, the party takes out (including food). CNE is on a very limited waste removal plan. All trash must be removed from the premise and the large party room swept clean.
