Mildred E. Faust Woodland Wildflower Garden

Entrance to the Mildred E. Faust Woodland Wildflower Garden Trail.
The Mildred E. Faust Woodland Wildflower Garden has more than 200 woodland wildflowers and ferns. It is one of the finest collections of native woodland wildflowers in the State of New York. Flowers begin appearing in April and blossom right up through early summer as the trees fill out with leaves.

The flowers and ferns are easily seen on this flat trail (wheelchair accessible) by wandering along several intertwining crushed stone paths.

Flowers and ferns are labeled with both their common names and their scientific names. A guided woodland wildflower walk through the Faust Garden is held on Mothers Day each year. Other guided walks for woodland wildflowers through the Faust garden as well as along the trails are held in April, May and June.
